Ghar soap aka Aleppo soap is a product of Syria. It uses an ancient formulation that dates back over a thousand years ago and is possibly one of the oldest soaps in the world.
 
This soap is produced manually and take up to a year to complete. It is a handmade, hard bar soap as shown by its rustic 'ugly' brown surface, uneven edges, corner grid marks and off-center branding. Cut this soap down the middle to reveal a beautiful jade-green colour. No two soaps are alike!
 
Soothing, moisturising, hypoallergenic - this is the only soap you'll need. Use daily as a hand/body wash, shampoo, facial cleanser, shaving cream, toothpaste, dishwashing soap and even for laundry. Serial Multi-Tasker Ghar Soap is hypoallergenic, fragrance-free and can be used by all ages (including babies and infants!) and skin types.
 
Each bar is made out of olive oil and lye, and it is distinguished by the inclusion of laurel oil. Olive oil contains valuable antioxidants, helps restore your skin’s natural balance, has anti-inflammatory properties and is usually well tolerated even by the most sensitive skin types. Laurel oil is a strong antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal agent which is great for healing various skin problems such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, bacterial dermatitis, fungal infections, irritated skin, as well as for scalp problems like dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, and others.
